Sometime in September: Today I thought about my renewal for the first time and I actually got excited and DUN DUN DUN didn't play in my head.
A little later in September: It's off. I'm so sad. We aren't doing it anymore. It seems like such a waste of money! We could use that money some place else like paying off debt! I'm so sad.
Later that night: Buttons thinks that we can make this work. I am going to do some math and see if this can work.
The next day: It's back on!! But with a different game plan. The budget is even smaller then before (ha!) and we are doing it in the backyard. I am super excited! It is going to be a huge challenge and I love a good challenge.
Later that day: My parents are really excited to do it in the backyard. My dad said he will come early and help make my backyard fancy! And we were all excited about the extra perk of being able to have more booze!
Today: I started working out... I don't want to lose weight just maybe tone up. UGH! I don't want to talk about it.
278 days to go!
$500 (but I think it will be closer to $800)
Pick a dateBOOM! In the cheese box! July 12th!! After 2 days of facebook pming with the whole family we all agreed on a date! It was between the 5th and the 12th and my deciding factor was I will be on my period on the 5th. Start your dressI am excited to say that this has started! First we tried to make a duct type pattern and that didn't work out so well. So then I just combined two patterns, Simplicity for the base pattern because I don't want the top to look like a corset, and then I used Simplicity for the hem of the top. I wanted the neck line from the red shirt and the key hole back that would line up with my bra. I used Swedish tracing paper to make my pattern. I am actually having a really hard time with it and I think that is because I want it to be perfect.
This is the first mock up of it (and no it isn't going to
be in bright pink zebra print) and it isn't quite right.

Set up appointments with wedding florists in the area to discuss options. We are actually going to use a local women who has a dahlia flower farm. I told her my colours and now she is pretty much going to do whatever she wants. Hire your photographer and videographer. My friend is just going to take pictures. Between everybody with their phones and cameras I'm sure we will get quite a few good ones. Search for local cake bakers to make your wedding cake.Red is all over this! We decided to have 3 flavors of cupcakes and the chocolate fountain. Flavours are yet to be decided on. Start researching hairstylists and makeup artists in your area.Oh I know exactly what I want! THAT! But instead of the top having hair wrapped around I want giant flowers like Dia de los Muertos. And some how that second wrap around piece of hair to be a bow... made out of hair. I am growing my hair out for it. And then for my make up I would like a very clean retro look. I actually don't want to wear lipstick (even thought I LOVE red lipstick) because I want to be able to kiss Hot Fuzz all night without having to worry about it rubbing off.
The problem at the moment:
Really just trying to figure out how to make this all work with this tiny ass budget!
