The 1950's House Wife: Gets Mad

Over on the Julia Bobbin blog she has issued a challenge:  Mad Men Dress Challenge - You in?

Why yes, yes I am!

I didn't really have the funds to make an exact replica of one of the many brilliantly beautiful dresses on the show Mad Men. So I just made two that I thought could go in the show with fabric that I had.

First my wiggle dress that I can picture on Joan:

I am having a cocktail party tomorrow night and this is the dress that I made for it. I will have to get some great photos of the back of it. It has a totally uncalled for frightfully delightful over-sized bow!

And then the full skirt daisy dress that I can picture on Betty.

 

These are also apart of my spring wardrobe that I am currently making. I cannot wait to show the rest to you.
